Once you have successfully created an account on Mercari and signed into your account go to your profile and have a look around to get yourself familiar with the tabs on the Mercari app/website.

There’s no cost to list an item, but once your sale goes through, when you have sold your item and the buyer has confirmed that they received the item, Mercari collects 10% of the sale price. If you are looking to maximize your profit on a listed item, you need to keep in mind that 10% of your list price goes to Mercari.
