There are a number of things to consider before you cancel your O2 contract or any phone contract, I’ll tell share those things with you and then provide a step-by-step guide on how to cancel O2 contract.

How to Cancel O2 Contract and keep my number

Please note that your contract will end 30 days after O2 receives your request to leave.
You’ll need to pay any outstanding charges on your account.
Call 202 free of charge from your mobile phone and give your 30 days’ notice.
Request a PAC code (Porting Authorisation Code) by texting PAC to 65075.
Your PAC code will be valid for 30 days after it was supplied to you.
You’ll need to switch your number to your new provider within 30 days else you’ll have to request a new PAC code.
