I would share with you on this blog my five(5) best apps ad-free that have managed to keep my kids entertained and at the same time teaching them so much.
My 3-year-old has learned in a very short time how to count and write 1 to 100 and also how to write A to Z and also how to identify shapes and colours.
He is also currently learning how to spell simple words just by spending some time using these apps and thankfully he enjoys them. So I have decided to share this with all the parents out there looking to keep their kids occupied with technology without that nagging sense of guilt.😁😁
As the name implies, it’s a phonics and alphabet tracing app for toddlers and preschoolers. This app is completely free and I cannot sing their praises enough.
There are no annoying ads popping up every now and then and it is 100% offline so you don’t have to worry about having an internet connection when out and about I love this app so much, there are no annoying ads or in-app purchases.
The graphics are so colourful and you get stickers for completing tasks. There is also a lot of positive reinforcement whilst using the app.
If you have a child that’s very interested in numbers and learning how to count, please install this app.
It’s ads-free with no in-app purchases and can be used offline. My 3 year old learned how to write numbers all by himself using this app.

This is my favorite free educational app for interactive communication. It includes a cast of cute characters that guide children through lessons, the lessons encourage creativity and kindness, it teaches how to share and wait for turns.
Furthermore, it also introduces children to reading and spellings and covers a wide range of learning curriculum.
It is completely ad-free with no in-app purchases, and children can easily master how to use it.
My toddlers can’t get enough of the games in this app, it’s super fun and educational, they love the characters, Lucas and Ruby that offer super encouraging words when tasks are completed or even missed.
The app features several mini-games that teach kids how to recognise shapes and colours, how to match and trace shapes, and also how to paint objects and there are loads of stickers to be collected after completing tasks.
It’s completely free with no annoying ads or in-app purchases. You can also try these indoor activities with your kids
This is an app developed by Bebi Family Games, it’s so colourful and engaging and my kids spend a lot of time playing the games over and over again. This great educational kids app teaches how to match colours, shapes, and sizes and can also help improve hand-eye coordination.
The app is completely ad-free but the downside of this app is the in-app purchases that make you pay to unlock stages of the game.
